Welcome to Good Shepherd, a caring, active and engaged community for adults age 55+. Our campus started in 1963 with Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, a retirement community designed to provide Graceful Living .
Over the years, we’ve grown and expanded to provide Graceful Living in many new Housing with Services settings, including: patio homes, senior apartments (with or without assisted living services), home health care (serving surrounding communities within 30 miles) and memory care.
Making the decision to move into a senior living community can be overwhelming. We can help. Our website contains basic information giving you a starting point. We understand each person has different wants, needs, and preferences.
Our Welcome Center is here to help navigate the many options available to personalize your decision.
Make Friends
When you make Good Shepherd your home, you have the opportunity to make new friends. You can visit with your neighbors while getting the mail, meet for coffee and good conversation, or join in the many different activities that are offered. However, if you prefer a more private lifestyle, your apartment is your sanctuary.

Good Shepherd offers all the comforts of home, without the homeowner responsibilities. We have amenities that cater to your personal enjoyment and lifestyle, services to meet your needs, and maintenance to make your life simpler.
Help when you need it
Good Shepherd’s Assisted Living program and Home Care provides a helping hand when you need it. We provide a combination of health care, supportive, and personalized services delivered to tenants in their own apartment.
The Kitchen is the heart of the home.
Whether you would like an occasional meal or three scheduled meals daily, Good Shepherd Nutrition Services offers meal options to meet your needs. We can provide you with the option for a noon meal, or you can choose a comprehensive meal plan. Comprehensive plans offer two or three meals per day, five or seven days a week. There is also a weekend-only option available. Excellent food, wonderful conversation, and the warm companionship of friends make every meal both precious and delicious.Guests are always more than welcome to join us also ~ the more the merrier!

Lettuce Shop for You
If you find it difficult to get out to the store, or you are baking and find yourself lacking a few key ingredients, Lettuce Shop For You may be the perfect answer. We keep a few items regularly on hand for our apartment tenants to purchase.
Take & Bake Pizzas
Our pizza is made to your specifications upon ordering. We offer 12″ and 16″ crust with whatever toppings you are craving. Built from scratch with three optional sauces, our mouth-watering pizzas will satisfy any appetite.
