Celebrating Easter Sunday – How can I make it a day to remember?

Celebrating Easter Sunday and making it a day to remember, involves several attributes:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of what Easter is, a snapshot of what Easter means, and the reason for celebrating and remembering Easter. Explain what Jesus did for all of humanity by dying for their sins. By the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, we are offered new life. At Easter, we celebrate what Jesus did for us!
• Taking communion is a fabulous way to not only celebrate Easter, but to remember and commemorate (bring honor) to God and what Christ did.
• Take time to celebrate and remember that God cares deeply for His creation. God sent His Son because He loved the world (John 3:16).
• Spend time with family and friends and share how God is working in your life.

Celebrating Easter can be an every day occurrence by being grateful for what God has done.
