What do you get when you combine two families? For Dave and Elsie, they were blessed with a 43 year marriage that began with 5 children and has grown to include 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

When they first married, they lived in South Minneapolis. Dave enjoyed a 40 year career with Honeywell, starting out as a tool and die-maker in the machine shop and ending in the automation lab working with mechanical engineers building automation machinery for their production line. Elsie also had a wonderful career working for Prudential Insurance for 21 years.

After the kids graduated, they lived outside of Becker. Their hobbies were varied and included gardening, embroidery and crocheting, reading and woodworking.  These days Dave uses his woodworking skills by helping to repair furniture on a volunteer basis with the local Faith in Action store and Elsie enjoys her crafts and attending Bible study at the Becker Baptist Church.

They are really enjoying the Becker Area Senior Center and appreciate a local place where area seniors can get together to socialize.

We are thrilled to have Dave and Elsie call Shepherd of Grace home.
